Nothing says Thanksgiving quite like a good savoury sage stuffing. I’ve been using this recipe for years and it’s a winner every time.
There’s something about Easter egg waste and chemical dyes that makes me squirm. Of course there are store-bought non-toxic natural Easter Egg dyes out there, but we set out to discover our own from ingredients in the fridge. The result was muted and beautiful – almost what you would find if you happened upon a bird’s nest in nature.
– Orange Slices
– Beet Slices
– Crushed Mint
– Fresh Basil
After filling each glass with 1/2 cup of water, we added 2 T of white vinegar, an egg and one of the natural dying agents. After two hours, we removed the eggs and let them dry.
If there’s one thing in life that is important, it’s paper. Thank you notes, holiday cards, photo calendars make friends and family smile every day. Receiving mail or writing a personal note connect us in tangible ways and being thoughtful makes the world a better place. That’s why we love having discovered Minted. This year they’ve added free recipient addressing which will save tons and tons of time every year. I’m one of those 100+ card people who spends hours on designing every element. This year with Minted, I didn’t have to. The designs are so incredible that I just had to add a cute photo. I even went for the rose gold foil on each card.
